Bio: Ayilya Nair was born 29 march 1987; she is known by her stage name Ananya. She is an Indian film actress appeared in Malayalam and Tamil films. Ananya started her acting career from Malayalam with positive in 2008 and debuted the same year in Tamil; this movie was very successful in the film industry.
The born name of Ananya was Ayilya Nair, Gopal Krishnan Nair a noted film producer and praseetha in kotmangalam, Kerala. Ananya has one brother whose name is Arjun. She appeared as a child artist in Pai Brothers (1995) which was produced by her father. Ananya get a B.A. degree in Communicative English from St. Xavier’s College of Aluva. Her surname change to Ananya in her first Tamil film Naadodigal.
The film was highly a critical success and she rose on the stage. Her performance in that film was greatly appreciated. She went on to do the same role in malayalm remake Ithu Nammude katha. The film ’’shikkar’’ made in Malayalam was a great hit at that time and people really like it. Ananya did amazing performances in her movies that impressed Mohanlal which forced him to call her ‘’vijayshanti’’ of Malayalam.
Ananya also perfumed as a supporting role In Kandahar beside with Mohanlal and Amitabh bachan. Ananya played the female lead role in 2011 in Engeyum Appodum. Which gave her a great deal of popularity.
Ananya got engaged on 3 February 2012 with Anangeyan who was a business man from Trichur. But two weeks later it was came to known through news that she called off the engagement after knowing that Anangeyan had marriage before but it was divorced, however this news is not confirmed yet neither by Ananya nor by her family members.
